Chapter 464 - Demons Taking on the Monsters

Chapter 464: Demons Taking on the Monsters

Everything that happened before them seemed to have occurred over a long time. In reality, all of that had simply occurred in mere moments.

The leader of the fallen angels had been psychologically tormenting everyone moments ago. Even so, Lu Xuan easily killed it with just one punch.

With a stunned look on his face, Zhang Hongyang looked at Lu Xuan who had just killed that goliath of a fallen angel. He said, “The young master has gotten more powerful!”

The scene was extremely surreal.

Lu Xuan was 180 centimeters tall, which meant that he was anything but short. Meanwhile, each of those fallen angels was all over three meters tall, with some even measuring over four meters in height. There was no doubt that they were all as twice as tall as Lu Xuan.

Even so, such tall and imposing fallen angels were still no match for him. Lu Xuan was almost able to kill every single one of them without breaking a sweat.

Had they not witnessed the scene for themselves, nobody would have ever believed that such a harrowing level of combat prowess was possible.

Zhang Hongyang then remembered all of the martial arts masters that he learned back in Southeast Asia. He had learned them all from Huaxian masters.

All of those masters seemed to have a similar bearing to Lu Xuan, but Lu Xuan still proved to be both stronger and scarier.

Considered how powerful Lu Xuan was, he seemed to be almost invincible on the battlefield.

In reality, every technique that Zhang Hongyang learned had evolved from those that were once used in battle. Thus, the techniques that he knew of were most effective when used in actual combat.

Lu Xuan’s bearing was similar to those of the masters that Zhang Hongyang had seen from them. One could even say that Lu Xuan had perfectly mastered such arts.

Any type of martial art or power was extremely frightening when used by Lu Xuan.

Boom!

A deafening rumble suddenly rang out. That thunder dragon that countless low-level demons pounced on finally gave in and exploded right away.

A small mushroom-shaped cloud was seen slowly rising into the air, resembling the harrowing sight that people would’ve usually seen coming from nuclear explosions.

The explosion killed thousands of low-level demons where they stood.

That explosion had also snapped everyone else out of their dazed states right away.

Only then did everyone come to their senses. They realized that the battle still had yet to end.

Lu Shanshan shouted, “Kill them all!”

One by one, everyone in the Yunxuan Villa returned to their respective battles in response to Lu Shanshan’s command.

To make their situation more manageable, Lu Shanshan had been in charge of the Yunxuan Villa in Lu Xuan’s absence.

That was how Lu Shanshan managed to build quite a reputation for herself. While she was far from being on the same level as Lu Xuan, what she had done during his absence was still considered to be quite a feat.

Lu Xuan retracted his powers that came from his fist, but the golden dragon shrouding him became even livelier as the low-level demons continued to pounce onto it. Before they could get close, however, that golden dragon quickly swatted all of them away with its tail, which was conjured from his Shield of Great Aether.

It looked almost as if the golden dragon had a mind of its own.

From a distance, Liu Wanrong saw Lu Xuan heading outside. Concerned, he asked, “Where are you going, son?”

Lu Xuan replied, “I’m heading out to get rid of whatever is causing all of this.”

As far as he knew, there was no way that a portal between Hell and Earth could have been so close to Yunxuan Villa.

As such, it was rather peculiar for the gates of Hell to have simply opened without warning. Likewise, it was strange for hordes of demons to be sent to Earth.

There was only one possible explanation for all of this: there were hell summoners around to summon these demons.

Hell summoners had been around since ancient times, who gained massive amounts of power by summoning demons from hell.

However, no hell summoner capable of summoning that many demons should have currently been on Earth, lurking in the shadows.

Everything seemed strange.

From the look of things, a hell summoner would have had no control over the massive horde of demons they summoned.

Lu Xuan was able to sense that within his perception range, countless demons were spreading out all over the place. Yunxuan Villa, which was at the center of it all, was only one of the demons’ targets.

In the outskirts of Fu City and nearby areas, people fighting the demons could be seen at times.

As the restoration of spirit qi had been around for quite a while, several formidable fighters had emerged among the people after widespread cultivation had been propagated.

The demons quickly alerted the presence of those fighters among the people. Before long, they were engaged with them in battle.

However, the humans seemed to only be barely holding on at the moment. As time passed, more demons emerge from that rift. It seemed as if the civilian fighters were about to give up.

Once the demons became too much for the fighters to handle, they would go about wreaking havoc. If that were to happen, they would have destroyed as much as those sea monsters did back then.

From the looks of things, it was only a matter of time before the hellspawn menace got out of control. Meanwhile, the demons were also attacking the military forces who were stationed nearby.

That prevented the military personnel nearby from even leaving their bases.

Fighters from both branches of the Heavenly Palace and the Special Task Force currently had their hands full as well. Because they were intercepted on their way, they were now busy fighting the demons off.

Even so, massive hordes of demons were heading to the city at that moment.

“Zhu Wuji, bring your men along and stop those demons.”

Lu Xuan focused and contacted Zhu Wuji telepathically.

At the moment, Zhu Wuji and the fighters from the Myriad Demon Valley, who had been awaiting Lu Xuan’s orders in the seas outside of Fu City, were quickly alerted. They finally received their orders from Lu Xuan.

The seas immediately raged under their control. Tall, imposing, and ferocious-looking sea monsters came up to shore one by one, heading straight for the Yunxuan Villa.

Fortunately, the villa was not all that far away from the beach. As such, both parties soon ended up clashing with one another.

On one side was the endless horde of low-level demons. On the other side were the thousands of monsters from the sea.

As both sides clashed, a terrifying slaughter finally broke out immediately.

The humans, regardless of where they were, were rendered speechless as they watched what was happening before them.

There was no doubt that the demons were new invaders. Apparently, those sea monsters were not allied with the humans, either.

The humans believed that the sea monsters would recreate the calamity that had taken place on the Atlantic Rim.

Naturally, everyone felt as if they were given even more trouble when they could barely settle their current situation. Before they could even hold off against the demons’ attack, the wave of sea monsters had hit them.

In reality, both sides were fighting each other instead. That fact left everyone baffled; nobody expected things to go in a completely different direction.

Those sea monsters behaved as if they had personal scores to settle with the demons, charging at them without any hesitation.

Both types of creatures were cannon fodders who hardly knew fear as they charged at each other.

The wave of demonic attacks was held off for a moment.

Zhu Wuji and all the other fighters from the Myriad Demon Valley appeared as this was happening, fighting the more formidable demons and even any fallen angels among the horde.
